What this is
Filing Room publishes figures read out of Indian IPO filings, with the page each one came from.
Nothing here is a score, a rating, a recommendation or a red flag. There is no primitive in this site for an unsourced claim. If a number is not in a document that anyone can open, it does not appear.
What is on here
Lock-in dates. When shares that are currently locked become sellable. These follow arithmetic from a date printed in a filing, so they are known weeks or months in advance, and almost nobody publishes them in a usable form.
Figures from the filing, each shown with the document, the page and a hash of the file the page came from.
The blog, which explains the machinery in plain language for someone who has never applied for an IPO, with the arithmetic shown for someone who wants to check it.
What is not, and will not be
No grey market premium. There is no exchange behind it, no settlement, no public record and nothing to cite. It is also the thing that funds most of the sites that compete with this one.
No score, no rating, no verdict. Not as a policy we might revisit. The design has nowhere to put one.
No advertising, no sponsorship, no affiliate links, no paid tier, no paid API. This site takes no money from anyone, and it never will.
No positions. Nobody involved holds a position in anything covered here.
When we get something wrong
We publish the misses. Every correction is its own entry, dated, and the original stays where it was rather than being quietly edited. A card that has been forwarded into a hundred chat threads cannot be changed after the fact, so a corrected figure is published as a new card at a new address and the old one is left alone.
The record page carries what we have got right and what we have got wrong, with the sample size, and the condition that would show a claim to be mistaken.
How the figures are produced
Documents are retrieved from the regulator's own public index and stored under a hash of their contents. Figures are read out of them by pattern, and every figure is checked a second way before it can be published: a date computed forward from allotment against a date stated in the document, an arithmetic cross-check of shares times price against a stated total, a period from the regulations against a period stated in the filing.
A figure that fails its second check is not published. It goes into a queue, and the size of that queue is shown rather than hidden.
Who publishes it
Filing Room is published by a limited liability partnership. Posts carry a byline. Posts are drafted with AI assistance and edited by a named human before publication.

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. If a figure here does not match the filing, say so and it will be checked and, if wrong, corrected in public.
